The 101st Ritz-Carlton Hotel Globally to Open in Nanjing, China
The Ritz-Carlton brand under Marriott International has recently announced the opening of its 101st hotel globally in Nanjing, the capital city of east China’s Jiangsu Province, on June 28, 2020. Centered at the Xinjiekou CBD and neighbor to Deji Plaza, The Ritz-Carlton, Nanjing is seamlessly connected to the subway line and offers easy access to the historical city’s most iconic destinations.
Situated on floors 38 to 62 of the office building of Deji Plaza, the hotel comprises 295 elegant rooms, including 32 suits with kitchen and dining room. The spacious bathroom, where floor-to-ceiling windows fill the space with natural light, offers sweeping views of the city’s skyline and mountain lake view. The interior design captures the essence of both oriental aesthetics and Western classic style. China’s five elements – jin (metal), mu (wood), shui (water), huo (fire), tu (earth) – are combined and showcased through the use of different building materials, decorations and artworks, indulging every guest with an exclusive staycation experience.
